Panama City
This morning you’ll experience the best of Panama City’s rich history and culture. Its colonial architecture and charming streets, buildings and plazas offer a beautiful backdrop as you shop for crafts, take amazing pictures and try refreshing street-shaved ice. The next stop is Panama La Vieja, an impressive UNESCO World Heritage-listed archaeological site. Here you’ll find the ruins of the first city, founded by the Spanish and destroyed by pirate attacks. The last stop of the day is the Amador Causeway where you can admire one of the most impressive views of the Panama City skyline. The highlight of this area is the Biomuseo, a museum designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry that focuses on Panama’s biodiverse natural history.

Daylight transit means you’ll be able to fully enjoy the magnificent sights of the ship entering the Gatun Locks and rising 85 feet to the level of man-made Gatun Lake.
Day 4

The next stop is the beautifully preserved and architecturally significant city of Cartagena. Choose an Oceania Excursion and you’ll experience a true slice of local culture. Or board a beautiful Spanish galleon, a replica of a 17th-century sailing ship, for a cruise of the inner bay of Cartagena.

Santa Marta, Colombia
From the mangroves of Ciénaga Grande to the beaches of Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta offers a multitude of thrilling adventures. The oldest city in Colombia, it abounds with Spanish colonial charm, including one of the first basilicas built in Latin America, the Cathedral of Santa Marta.
