Exterior of Blenheim Palace with ornate gardens and ponds

Depart on your overnight flight from Toronto or Winnipeg to London.
Day 2
Oxford – Upon arrival, meet your tour director and transfer to your hotel for a 3-night stay. The rest of your day is at leisure before your welcome dinner. (D)
Day 3
Oxford – Explore the Cotswolds, a region of timeless charm with ancient limestone villages, charming stone churches and thatched-roof cottages. Admire the scenic countryside of river valleys, meadows and historic market towns that seem untouched for over 300 years. Stops include Bibury, a picturesque village showcasing the area's unique character, and Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds and known for its traditional architecture. This afternoon, visit Christ Church College at the University of Oxford, celebrated for its ties to Harry Potter and Lewis Carroll. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B/D)

Oxford – Visit the pretty village of Bampton in Oxfordshire, featured in the TV show Downton Abbey. This afternoon, visit Blenheim Palace for the Downstairs Tour. Step into the hidden world of palace staff as you wander through a network of corridors, see the iconic bell system and visit areas still in use, while hearing stories about the staff’s daily lives and roles. Southampton – After breakfast, journey to the mysterious Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain and learn about its 5,000-year history. Continue to Southampton to board the Queen Anne® for a 12-night British Isles cruise. (B)

Please note: Participants must be able to embark and disembark cruise ships and coaches without assistance as well as have a good level of mobility for walking tours in destinations where stairs and traditional cobblestone streets can be challenging. Along the way, uncover the gossip, perks and daily realities of life behind the scenes, told from the staff’s perspective. (B)

After breakfast, journey to the mysterious Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain. As you approach the breathtaking formation of towering stones, you’ll be filled with wonder at their 5,000-year history. Take your time to explore and listen to expert theories of their origins through a provided audio guide. Continue to Southampton to board the Queen Anne for a 12-night British Isles cruise. (B)
