Immerse yourself in the beauty of Croatia on this 10-day tour through its capital, coast and countryside in a way that feels grounded and memorable. Begin in Zagreb with time in its Upper and Lower Towns, then travel south to Šibenik for a guided visit and regional wine tasting before settling into Split. Here, explore Diocletian’s Palace and take in the coastline at your own pace, with a day trip to Krka National Park’s waterfalls. Continue along the Adriatic to Ston for a fresh oyster tasting, then arrive in Dubrovnik. Discover its Old Town with a local guide and venture into the Konavle region for a closer look at rural traditions before you head home with new friends and memories to last a lifetime.

Adriatic Oyster Tasting at Mali Ston

Explore Croatia on this 10-day tour featuring historic cities, Adriatic coastlines, national parks and unique local food experiences.
Day 1
Depart from Toronto or Winnipeg on your overnight flight to Zagreb.
Day 2
Zagreb – Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, transfer to your city centre hotel. After check-in, the afternoon is at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant featuring Croatian cuisine. (D)
Day 3
Zagreb – After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Zagreb. Explore the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church and scenic viewpoints, then continue through the Lower Town, known for its architecture, parks and cafés. Afternoon is at leisure. (B)
Day 4
Split – Travel south toward the Dalmatian coast, stopping at Šibenik for a guided walking tour, including the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral. Continue with a wine tasting and lunch featuring regional dishes. Arrive in Split in the late afternoon and enjoy free time to explore. (B/L/T)
Day 5
Split – Take a private guided walking tour of Split, centred around Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy lunch in a local tavern featuring authentic Dalmatian dishes. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B/L)
Day 6
Split – Embark on a private guided walk through Krka National Park. Marvel at the lush landscapes and famous waterfalls. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride, then return to Split. Evening at leisure. (B)
Day 7
Dubrovnik – Travel along the Adriatic coast to Dubrovnik, stopping in Ston for an oyster tasting experience. Continue to Dubrovnik with free time in the afternoon. (B/T)
Day 8
Dubrovnik – Explore Dubrovnik’s Old Town on a private guided walking tour, including the Stradun, historic palaces, monasteries and city gates. Afternoon at leisure to explore. (B)
Day 9
Dubrovnik – Discover the Konavle region on a six-hour tour through countryside and villages. Learn about local traditions and enjoy regional flavours. Return to Dubrovnik in the late afternoon. (B/L/D)
Day 10
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Canada. (B)

Please note: Participants must be able to embark and disembark cruise ships and coaches without assistance as well as have a good level of mobility for walking tours in destinations where stairs and traditional cobblestone streets can be challenging. International transportation vehicles and facilities may not meet accessibility standards.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Zagreb, Croatia’s charming capital city. The tour takes you through the historic Upper Town, where medieval streets, St. Mark’s Church and scenic viewpoints, then continue through the Lower Town, known for its elegant Austro-Hungarian architecture, parks and cafés. The afternoon is free for independent exploration. (B)
Day 4
Split
This morning, travel south toward the Dalmatian coast, stopping in the historic town of Šibenik for a guided walking tour including the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral. Following the tour, enjoy a wine tasting paired with a leisurely lunch featuring regional specialties. Arrive in Split in the late afternoon and enjoy free time to explore the seaside promenade or relax. (B/L/T)

Split
After breakfast, meet your private guide for a walking tour of Split. The tour is centred around Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that forms the heart of the old town. Explore ancient cellars, narrow stone streets and vibrant squares where history blends seamlessly with modern life. Following the tour, enjoy a traditional lunch in a local tavern featuring authentic Dalmatian dishes. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B/L)
Day 6
Split
Embark on a private excursion to Krka National Park, with a guided walk through lush landscapes and wooden pathways leading to the park’s famous waterfalls. A relaxing boat ride offers a different perspective of the natural surroundings. After the tour, return to Split where the evening is at leisure. (B)
Day 7
Dubrovnik
Journey south along the Adriatic coast toward Dubrovnik. Stop in the village of Ston, famous for its medieval walls and centuries-old oyster farms, for an oyster tasting experience to try fresh oysters straight from the sea. Arrive in Dubrovnik in the afternoon with the remainder of the day free after check-in. (B/T)

Dubrovnik
After breakfast, meet your private guide for a walking tour of Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Explore the marble-paved Stradun, historic palaces, monasteries and city gates. Learn about Dubrovnik’s role as a powerful maritime republic and its rich cultural heritage. The afternoon is at leisure to explore further. (B)
Day 9
Dubrovnik
Discover the picturesque Konavle region on a private six-hour tour. Travel through the scenic countryside of southern Croatia, learning about local customs, rural life and traditional crafts unique to the area. Time is included for enjoying local flavours and beautiful landscapes. Return to Dubrovnik in the late afternoon. (B/L/D)
