Master the Art of Campanian Cuisine Class and Lunch
Discover the secrets of making traditional Campanian dishes during this hands-on cooking class led by a chef at the Museo Arte e Gusto in Sorrento. In this workshop you’ll learn step by step how to prepare delicious pasta and classic tiramisu, then sit down to dine on the courses you’ve just created with a glass of limoncello, wine or beer. You’ll go home with an apron, a certificate of participation signed by the chef and recipes to impress your family and friends.

Day 1
Depart from Toronto or Winnipeg on your overnight flight to Rome.
Day 2
Rome – Arrive, meet your tour director and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. (D)

Amalfi – Travel to the Amalfi Coast to embark on an enchanting Positano cruise, indulging in the region’s famous limoncello, exploring scenic vistas and watching an Italian sunset. This evening, enjoy your welcome dinner. (B/D)
Day 4
Amalfi – Discover the allure of Capri, including Anacapri’s panoramic views and historic sites. Savour a local lunch, then return for a group dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 5
Amalfi – Explore the famous Campania wine region with a tasting, then visit the well-preserved Paestum Ruins. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Amalfi. (B/T/D)
Day 6
Sorrento – Embark on a boat journey to picturesque Positano to explore its charming, twisting lanes. Later, enjoy an unforgettable cooking class and dinner in Sorrento. (B/D)
Day 7
Sorrento – Visit the legendary city of Pompeii and enjoy panoramic views at Vesuvius National Park. Conclude with dinner at the hotel. (B/D)

Please note: Participants must be able to embark and disembark cruise ships and coaches without assistance as well as have a good level of mobility for walking tours in destinations where stairs and traditional cobblestone streets can be challenging. Amalfi
Travel to the Amalfi Coast, the perfect place to begin exploring this area’s unique Mediterranean landscapes. Today’s highlight will be an enchanting Positano cruise, complete with refreshments including the region’s famous limoncello made by local producers. Sightsee and snorkel then take in an amazing Italian sunset before returning to your hotel to freshen up before your welcome dinner. (B/D)
Day 4
Amalfi
Visit one of the most beautiful places of Italy: Capri. Spend the day discovering the charm and soul of the island including Anacapri, the elevated portion of the island known for its picturesque views of the Bay of Naples and historic sites including Villa San Michele. Enjoy a local lunch then return to your hotel. This evening is a group dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 5
Amalfi
Explore the famous Campania wine region to take in its unique terroir and enjoy a wine tasting. Continue to the Paestum Ruins, famous for three ancient Greek temples in the Doric order dating from about 550 to 450 BC that are in an excellent state of preservation. Dinner and overnight in Amalfi. (B/T/D)
Day 6
Sorrento
Depart by boat to Positano, known as the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. As you wander through the most famous and iconic village on the Amalfi Coast, you’ll fall in love with its narrow, twisting lanes filled with small local shops displaying local crafts. At the end of the tour, return to the boat and continue to beautiful Sorrento for your Extraordinary Experience: an amazing cooking class with a local chef and dinner where you can savour the delectable dishes everyone prepared. Sorrento
This morning, visit the legendary city of Pompeii and Vesuvius National Park. As you walk among the ruins, you’ll get a fascinating glimpse into ancient Rome before the 79 AD catastrophic eruption. Led by an expert guide, you’ll walk up the crater for breathtaking views across the Gulf of Naples. Dinner tonight at the hotel. (B/D)

Sorrento
Spend your day at leisure on the Amalfi coast. (B)
Day 9
Rome
Say arrivederci to the Amalfi Coast and return to Rome. Enjoy a local lunch before touring the Colosseum and the Roman Forum in the heart of this ancient city. As you visit the sublime collection of historical Roman buildings bordering the Forum, including temples, government buildings and triumphal arches, you’ll be immersed and in awe of what it was like to live in Roman times. Rome
Today you’ll visit the Vatican Museum, which hosts the largest and most important art collection in the world. Gaze upon countless masterpieces of antiquity, from Egypt to Greece to Rome, dating from the 17th century onwards. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

Rome
This morning includes a visit to the Borghese Gallery, an elegant palace and a world-famous art museum with exceptional paintings by artists such as Caravaggio, Canova and Raphael. Remainder of your day at leisure. (B)

Rome
Spend your day at leisure before meeting the group for a farewell dinner. (B/D)
