Day 1
Depart from Toronto or Winnipeg on your overnight flight to Lisbon.
Day 2
Lisbon – Upon arrival in Lisbon, you will be greeted by your tour guide and escorted to your private coach and transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 3
Lisbon – The day begins with a panoramic tour of Lisbon with engaging commentary throughout. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel. Relax, then join the group for dinner and a fado show. (B/L/D)
Day 4
Lisbon – Explore the enchanting landscapes of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. See the romantic architecture of Pena Palace, Cascais’ golden beaches, and Estoril’s beautiful promenade. Evening at leisure. (B)
Day 5
Lisbon – After breakfast, enjoy a full day free to explore Lisbon at your own pace. With its blend of old‑world charm and vibrant modern culture, the city offers countless ways to spend the day. (B)
Day 6
Lisbon – Roll up your sleeves in for a hands‑on Pastel de Nata workshop, where you craft Portugal’s iconic custard tarts. Experience Lisbon’s flavours and culture on a Tuk Tuk Gastronomic Tour. Along the way, you’ll stop at stunning viewpoints while your guide shares insights into Lisbon’s oldest quarters. (B/S/T)
Day 7
Lisbon – You’ll have the morning and afternoon at leisure. Come together in the evening for a memorable farewell experience with a sunset river cruise followed by dinner, celebrating your time in Lisbon and the experiences shared throughout your journey. (B/D)

Extraordinary Explorations vacations are organized and booked by CAA Travel (South Central Ontario) Inc. and CAA Manitoba (“CAA Travel”) on behalf of CAA Club Group (o/a CAA South Central Ontario and CAA Manitoba). In the event of an increase in any of the cost factors, CAA Travel reserves the right to increase the price whereby the provisions of the Travel Industry Act shall prevail. Deposit is non-refundable at the time of booking. Final payment is due 120 days before departure. Cancellation Terms: Up to 121 days before departure – Deposit; 120-91 days – 50% non-refundable;90-61 days – 75% non-refundable; 60-0 days – 100% non-refundable. Following the tour, enjoy lunch together at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel. You will have some time in the afternoon to relax before joining the group for your welcome dinner and fado show this evening. (B/L/D)

Set out on a captivating journey from Lisbon to explore the enchanting landscapes of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. Begin in the fairytale town of Sintra, where lush hills and romantic architecture await, highlighted by a visit to the iconic Pena Palace—perched high above the town and renowned for its vibrant colours and sweeping views. Continue along the scenic coastline to Cascais, a charming seaside village known for its golden beaches, elegant streets, and relaxed atmosphere. Here you will have time for lunch on your own before concluding in Estoril, famed for its glamorous past, beautiful promenade, and picturesque bay. The perfect blend of history, culture, and coastal beauty in one unforgettable day. Return to Lisbon and enjoy the evening at leisure. (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day free to explore Lisbon at your own pace, with countless options right at your doorstep. With its blend of old‑world charm and vibrant modern culture, the city offers countless ways to spend the day. You may choose to wander through the historic Alfama district or ride the iconic Tram 28. Those interested in art and history can explore the National Tile Museum or the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, or you might prefer browsing the elegant shops of Chiado or taking in panoramic views from São Jorge Castle. Whether savouring local pastries in a café or strolling along the waterfront, Lisbon provides a perfect mix of leisure and discovery. (B)

After time in the morning at leisure, your Extraordinary Experience awaits, roll up your sleeves in for a hands‑on Pastel de Nata workshop, where you learn to craft Portugal’s beloved custard tarts from scratch. Later, you’ll dive even deeper into Lisbon’s flavours and culture during a Tuk Tuk Gastronomic Tour where you’ll savour local specialties including warm custard tarts, Ginjinha, regional cheeses, charcuterie, and Portuguese wine. Along the way, you’ll stop at stunning viewpoints and pass notable monuments while your local guide shares stories, traditions, and insights into Lisbon’s oldest quarters. Return to the hotel with the remainder of the day yours to explore in Lisbon. (B/S/T)

You’ll have the morning and afternoon at leisure to enjoy Lisbon however you choose, giving you the perfect chance to discover parts of the city you haven’t yet explored. You might wander through the elegant avenues of Baixa, browse the boutiques or spend time in the peaceful gardens of Estrela Park. After a day spent soaking in the city’s charm at your own pace, you’ll come together in the evening for a memorable farewell experience beginning with a sunset river cruise followed by dinner, celebrating your time in Lisbon and the experiences shared throughout your journey.
